Last Winter the presence of the T’cra Lord at a battle in the Realm almost caused the Kuojo Fortress to fall to the T’cra.  Eventually the battle was won and the T’cra were driven off but the Lord has been deemed too dangerous and needs to be dealt with.  Over the past months many people have worked hard to find out where the Lord is hiding and devising plans to deal with him once and for all.  The Council of Fourteen and all of the Protected Zones allies have been contributing a significant amount of money to the Campaign Chest for the purposed of mounting a mission to destroy the T’cra Lord once and for all.

Event Brief:
Ever since it was established on the ruins of Escavon, the town of Koh-i-Noor has been working hard to erase the blight of what transpired at Escavon and the terrible deeds that lead to its raising by the armies of the Protected Zone.  Craftsmen have been working to build a new town on the ruins of the old and excise any trace of the cancer that once grew there.  Gradually people have begun to settle there once again.

Now it seems a shadow looms over the new town.  Rumors are coming from the mountains to the west.  From along the old path once reckoned to be the only safe passage through the mountain and what Escavon was built to defend.  The rumours speak of a new evil waiting in those cold mountains, on the verge of being born.  A new horror to be unleashed on the new town.

What manner of terror do the rumors speak of?  Words that speak of a horror thought laid to rest, two little words...Death Knight!

Event Brief:
Over the last year a group of dedicated Undead hunters have been working hard to clear the Undead from around the frontier town of Ambit.  They have been so successful that no Undead has been seen from Ambits walls in over a month and the hunters have had to roam further and further afield to find more.

While seeming to be good news for the beleaguered frontier town, the Guard have expressed concern at the Undeads ever decreasing numbers.  It is widely known that the Undead have significant forces at their disposal and ever since Ambit was re-established it has come under attack time and again. The fact that there are no more Undead coming into the lands around the town is felt to be highly suspicious.

In addition to this, recently there have been reports of what has been dubbed “beast packs” being seen in the areas around Ambit.  No-one knows who or what they are but they seems to be groups of beasts. However, few have seen them let alone managed to get close enough to identify what they may be.  Currently it is believed they are Feral packs looking for a home in the now quiet lands around Ambit and they are not believed to be a threat.  This has not stopped some wild speculation, combined with the absence of the Undead, tensions in the town are high and the Guard have been dealing with an increasing number of incidents ranging from heated arguments to full on brawls.

Ambit, as the first town resettled outside the Great Wall is of significant importance to the Protected Zone. As such the Mercenaries Guild has been instructed to issue a Letter of Marque (See Mercenaries Guild for more information) for the purpose of finding out what has happened to the Undead in the lands around Ambit.  We have lived under the shadow of the Undead for so long, if they have gone it could have significant repercussions for everyone.  However, if they are planning something, as seems more likely, we need to know and if possible stop it.

Calling all FGers

We all know how hard the crew work at Faded Glory to help bring you our events, it is also hardly news to anyone that we are always in need of more crew to help out and make things even better. So as an incentive we have decided to trial the following for the Winter event:

Anyone who introduces a new crew member for the Winter FG 2014 will get either a £5 discount on the player price or 10 Fealty points towards a character of their choosing.
