Good Morning FGers, with just over four weeks before the next event I hope you are all looking forward to it as much as I am. We still have player spaces available and, as always, we have need of more crew for the weekend. In addition, myself and a few others will, over the next few weeks be working of a few projects that we hope will add something a little special to our winter event for all you lucky players and give the crew something to get their teeth into...not literally, I promise  :P

FG38 - Winter 2014
Calling All FGers,

Booking is now open for the Faded Glory Winter Event!

General Information
When: 24th to 26th October
Where: Leslie Sell Scout Camp
Accommodation Type: Indoor
Catering: Yes - Only available for pre-book tickets
Arrival Time:  Players and Crew can arrive on site from 14:00

Player Details:
The event price is £70 on the day or £60 pre-booked.  Pre-Book tickets are available up to a fortnight before the event and require a £10 deposit to be paid by that time and a booking form to be filled out.

Deposits can be paid via Paypal using the Pay Now button on this site or by sending money directly to payments@fadedglorylrp.co.uk.  If you do not have access to Paypal please contact our Design Team at Design.Team@fadedglorylrp.co.ukto discuss other options for payment.  Deposits are refundable/transferable up to four weeks before the event.

The balance of the event price will need to be paid in cash at the event.

As usual Players will have to bring their own costume, weapons, phys-reps and sleeping gear.  The player accommodation has bunks and mattresses but no bedding so you will need to bring your own.  Our Winter event is catered, details of the menu and what meals are being catered for will be posted on our forums and Facebook pages nearer the event.

Crew Details:
There is no charge for crew to take part in the event unless they wish to take part in the catered meals.  Any crew wanting the catered meals needs to pay a £10 deposit and complete a crew booking form at least two weeks before the event date.  Details of the menu and what meals are being catered for will be posted on our forums and Facebook pages nearer the event.

We will provide costume and equipment for the event, crew just need to bring basic clothing, and sleeping gear.  Be aware that the monster accommodation is a large room without beds so a camp bed/air bed and bedding will be required.  Anyone who crews for the summer event will receive 10 Fealty Points.  See the "Perks of Monstering" page for details of Fealty Points and what you can do with them.

Event Brief:
The trade caravans sent to the Realm by Lady Umbrial have not returned and contact with the Elementals has indicated that the transport circle in the Realm is not functioning.  Obviously this has both Lady Umbrial and the Elementals concerned.  The last caravan that returned from the Realm brought reports of an increased T'cra presence there and that the Shogun, the Lords of the Realm, were having trouble dealing with this new foe.  In addition they brought news of a Dark Shogun who has used the chaos brought by the T'cra to launch his own campaign into the Realm. Lady Umbrial is calling together the Prodigeen, people charged with the defeat of the T'cra at all costs,  as well as any who would be willing to travel to the Realm and find out what has taken place and lend their aid to their beleaguered allies.

Event Brief:
The fighting in the Lizard-Kin lands that has bordered on civil war has come to an end and the final candidates for the new Lizard-King have proven themselves strong.  There is to be a final challenge to decide who will become the new King and people from all over the Protected Zone have been invited to come and see the challengers do battle and take part in the celebrations.  Understandably many are reluctant given the recent hostile attitudes towards outsizers during the battle for leadership amongst the Lizard-Kin.  As such a procession is leaving from Prodigio, travelling via important cities and collecting those who wish to see the spectacle for themselves.  Along the way representatives from all races will join the procession and the Lizard Kin challengers have made it clear that anyone in the procession is to be given safe passage through Lizard-Kin lands to Sliter Town where the final challenge and the celebrations will take place.
